When you register for the Unleash the SHE: Presented by Mayo Clinic, you make a difference for the hundreds of Minnesota women and families impacted by ovarian cancer. There is no test for ovarian cancer, the deadliest of all gynecologic cancers. This year alone, more than 400 Minnesota women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which is all too often diagnosed at a late stage. The Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance funds crucial research and provides support and resources for women all across Minnesota, including a chapter in the Rochester area. We encourage you to start a fundraising page to support MOCA even more. Visit MOCA's blog at

All participants will receive a t-shirt. Make sure to stick around after the race for all of the fun door prizes. You must be present to win. Door Prizes will be given out after the awards ceremony for the 10K.

This is an all-women's event, we encourage men to attend to cheer on the ladies and volunteer. If you would like to volunteer please contact  Men are also encouraged to sponsor a woman running in this event.

Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance:

The Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, providing education and support to women and families impacted by the disease and funding the research needed to detect ovarian cancer early and treat it properly. MOCA was founded in 1999 by a group of ovarian cancer survivors. Since then, MOCA has grown to an organization of more than 1,000 survivors and 40,000 donors and active members with a full range of programs encompassing education, support and research. MOCA has awarded more than $4.5 million to research projects for ovarian cancer research in Minnesota. For additional information, go to or call (612) 822-0500.
